Previous Cancellation Policy (Before October 2023)

 

The below cancellation policy only applies to trips confirmed prior to October 1, 2023.

For all trips confirmed after this date, please refer to our updated Terms and Conditions.

  • Trips cancelled after payment (Booking Deposit and/or full payment) has been submitted are subject to the following Cancellation Policy:

Timing of Cancellation Notification Cancellation Terms
Date of deposit to 6 months before the date of travel 5% of total Trip value
6 months to 30 days before the date of travel 20% of total Trip value
Between 30 and 21 days before the date of travel 30% of total Trip value
Between 20 and 8 days before the date of travel 60% of total Trip value
Between 7 and 2 days before the date of travel 75% of total Trip value
Less than 48 hours before the date of travel 100% of total Trip value

For bookings made with Service Providers that have a stricter cancellation policy than wondertrunk & co., the stricter cancellation policy will apply.

  • All expert-led experiences are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

  • Individual bookings that require immediate full payment to confirm are non-refundable (e.g. flight and train bookings).

  • Individual services cancelled after the Traveler’s arrival in Japan are non-refundable unless specified otherwise.

  • Cancellation requests are processed during regular business hours. Any requests made after 5:00 p.m. JST will be processed the following business day.

  • All cancellation refunds will be made by bank transfer. Refunds to credit cards are not available
