Arrive at Izumo Enmusubi Airport and meet your guide and driver. From there, you’ll move to Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines. Finish the day at your comfortable accommodation in a nearby historical district.

Explore the charming mountain town of Ōmori, a carefully preserved village which offers glimpses of a Japan from days gone by. From there, you’ll move to your accommodation in nearby Yunotsu, a historic hot spring town with narrow streets, traditional inns, and a scenic harbor.

Enter the private workshop of one of Japan’s few remaining ‘kagura’ mask makers to learn about this historic craft and even try painting a mask of your own. In the evening, your time in Shimane crescendos with a colorful and dynamic ‘kagura’ dance, performed live at a local shrine.

Your driver will transfer you back to Izumo Enmusubi Airport to board a flight to your next, exciting destination.
