After arriving in East Hokkaido, your driver will transfer you to the remote Shiretoko Peninsula. Here, you’ll don a drysuit and walk across massive blocks of drift ice with knowledgeable guide. Depending on the temperature and seasonal conditions, you may end up doing just as much swimming as you do walking! Retire to your accommodation to warm up and relax.

In the morning, your private vehicle will transfer you south to the Teshikaga area, where you’ll meet descendants of Hokkaido’s indigenous Ainu population for a hands-on craft experience. After lunch, explore a world of white as you join a local guide for an invigorating hike through the surrounding, frozen landscape.
